Employee Benefits Account Manager (Insurance)

What you will do

• Coordinate new business and renewal marketing, including rating and quoting employee benefit lines.
• Support underwriting by gathering enrollment information and following up on underwriting status.
• Work with group administrators on benefit administration procedures, including state and federal COBRA, additions, and terminations.
• Assist employees with unresolved claims and explain the claims processing system.
• Process account correspondence and telephone requests while maintaining accurate records and electronic account files.
• Maintain follow-up systems and support client relationships, account retention, and growth.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical knowledge of insurance coverage across employee benefits lines.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to build client rapport and maintain confidentiality.
• Active Florida 2-15 license in good standing is required and must be maintained.
