Subject Matter Expert (SME) (LXMO/LMRT)

Location: Remote, United States; 8–15 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Salary: $40–$45 per hour

What you will do

• Develop and review the Limited X-Ray Machine Operator (LXMO/LMRT) curriculum.
• Align learning objectives and competency standards with the ARRT Limited Scope of Practice in Radiography exam.
• Evaluate instructional materials for accuracy and review assessments against ARRT’s testing format and cognitive complexity.
• Collaborate with program managers and content developers on curriculum design.
• Provide ongoing feedback and recommend evidence-based teaching strategies for synchronous and asynchronous online learning.
• Monitor updates to ARRT exams and best practices in limited-scope radiography.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in radiography, radiography education, or program administration.
• Experience developing LXMO/LMRT curriculum aligned with the ARRT exam and, where applicable, state competency standards.
• Experience creating synchronous and asynchronous online educational content.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health sciences, education, or a related field.
• Familiarity with instructional design, learning management systems, and competency-based education.
• Strong communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
