Healthcare Administration Teaching Assistants

Location: Remote; live teaching and discussion sections take place from 6–10 PM EST.

Compensation: $2,000 per 4-credit course over an 11-week quarter, or $1,185 per 1–2 credit course over an 11-week quarter.

What you will do

• Lead weekly live discussion sections for undergraduate healthcare administration courses.
• Grade student work and provide structured feedback.
• Hold virtual office hours and support students directly.
• Guide case studies and applied project work.
• Reinforce professionalism, communication, and healthcare standards.
• Escalate academic or integrity concerns appropriately.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Sciences, Public Health, Business, or a related field, or 1–3 years of professional healthcare industry experience.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring undergraduate students.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to student success.
• Comfort using digital tools and platforms, including LMS and video conferencing.
• Availability for live sessions between 6 and 10 PM EST.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or current graduate studies in Healthcare Administration or Public Health.
• Experience with medical billing and coding.
• Familiarity with EHR systems.
• Experience working with diverse, first-generation, or adult learners.
