Business Analyst Senior, SWIFT, DTC (Fintech)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid schedule with two days in-office and three days virtual

Salary: $98,200–$166,980 per year

What you will do

• Analyze the impact of new product features on securities processing applications.
• Work with product managers and owners, development, testing, professional services, and implementation teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Capture, analyze, and document cross-team requirements.
• Produce use cases, acceptance criteria, specifications, and other change documentation.
• Create, maintain, and update product feature specifications.
• Participate in business process reviews for new and existing clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in financial services as a business analyst or product owner, preferably in back-office securities or broker-dealer operations.
• Experience with North American market infrastructures and facilities, including DTC, CDS, NSCC, FICC, BONY, and FED.
• Strong knowledge of securities industry flows and SWIFT MT/MX messaging in trading, clearing, and settlement.
• Ability to read and interpret interface specifications and translate industry initiatives into detailed requirements.
• Experience researching, analyzing, and producing scope and business requirements documents.
• Strong presentation, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and prioritization skills.

• Understanding of user experience constructs.
• Knowledge of FIX, Bloomberg XML, central counterparty flows, and European or Asian settlement flows.
