Business Analyst Senior (SWIFT)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid schedule with two days in-office and three days virtual

Salary: $98,200–$166,980 per year

What you will do

• Analyze the impact of new product features on securities processing applications.
• Work with product managers, product owners, development, testing, professional services, and implementation teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Capture and document cross-team requirements, use cases, acceptance criteria, specifications, and product feature updates.
• Translate industry initiatives into detailed business and system requirements.
• Participate in business process reviews for new and existing clients.
• Communicate proposed solutions and requirements to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in financial services as a business analyst or product owner.
• Experience with securities processing back-office or broker-dealer operations.
• Knowledge of North American market infrastructures such as DTC, CDS, NSCC, FICC, BONY, and FED.
• Strong knowledge of securities industry flows, especially SWIFT MT/MX messaging for trading, clearing, and settlement.
• Ability to read interface specifications and produce business requirements documentation.
• Strong analytical, presentation, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.

• Agile methodology experience and understanding of user experience concepts.
• Knowledge of FIX and Bloomberg XML messaging protocols.
• Knowledge of central counterparty processes and European or Asian settlement flows.
