Senior Business Analyst (Investment Technology)

Location: New York, New York; hybrid schedule with at least four full days per week in an hirify.global office

Salary: $80,000–$103,000 per year, plus incentive pay

What you will do

• Consult with Front Office business partners to gather requirements and define technology solutions and enhancements.
• Partner with Capital Markets, Investment Compliance, Investment Services, engineering teams, analysts, and external vendors on project delivery.
• Contribute to the development roadmap and continuous improvement of investment technology tools.
• Build subject matter expertise in core business processes and propose optimized solutions.
• Project-manage initiatives, including delivery updates, risk management, and issue management.
• Participate in Agile squad ceremonies and support backlog prioritization with Scrum Masters and Product Owners.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience, ideally in asset management or alternatively in investment banking.
• Experience with equity, fixed income, and derivative instruments.
• Understanding of Order Management Systems, preferably Charles River or a comparable platform.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, requirements documentation, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and experience collaborating with business analysts and engineers.
• Strong SQL skills for database interrogation and understanding of Oracle PL/SQL.
