Senior Salesforce Business Analyst

Location: Remote within the United States only; work must be performed in the United States, with core hours from 10am to 4pm Eastern Time. Foreign locations and personal VPN connections are prohibited. Office reference: Reston, Virginia.

Salary: $81,499–$138,549 per year.

What you will do

• Partner with Product Owners, stakeholders, architects, developers, administrators, and QA teams to gather and refine Salesforce requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Own user stories through backlog refinement, development, testing, UAT, release, and production deployment.
• Support backlog management, prioritization, release planning, Agile ceremonies, and stakeholder demonstrations.
• Track dependencies, risks, assumptions, decisions, and business process documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Recommend Salesforce best-practice solutions and support change management and user adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least five years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise software development projects.
• At least three years of experience supporting Salesforce implementations or Salesforce-based business solutions.
• Experience with requirements elicitation, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Experience supporting Agile delivery, backlog management, testing, and UAT.
• Must reside and work in the United States, be authorized to work in the United States, and have lived in the United States for three full years of the past five years. Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification.
• Experience with SAFe, Medicaid, healthcare, government modernization, or Human-Centered Design.
• Knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Salesforce configuration, security, workflows, reporting, dashboards, flows, and case management.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps, release management, Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
