Business Strategy Principal (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States of America

Salary: $150,000–$221,000 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for United States candidates.

What you will do

• Support Advanced Compute Solutions strategy and annual integrated planning with business, finance, and category teams.
• Develop analyses covering market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, growth opportunities, and portfolio positioning.
• Build Edge AI strategy, roadmaps, market-sizing analyses, competitive assessments, and strategic trade-off recommendations.
• Assess the AI compute and silicon ecosystem, including infrastructure vendors, semiconductor providers, and hyperscalers.
• Support investment sizing, capital allocation submissions, long-range plans, business cases, and scenario analyses.
• Prepare executive-ready materials for board, leadership, corporate strategy, and cross-functional reviews while connecting strategy with execution.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 8–10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, business strategy, management consulting, product strategy, product management, or a related field.
• Exceptional analytical thinking, structured problem solving, hypothesis-driven decision-making, and business judgment.
• Experience developing financial models, forecasts, long-range plans, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations and narratives for senior leadership.
• Experience in technology, hardware, AI infrastructure, semiconductors, servers, software, services, or adjacent industries is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with server, accelerated computing, edge inference, semiconductor, or OEM partnership dynamics.
• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Top-tier consulting or similarly rigorous corporate strategy experience.
