Business Consultant (Business Strategy & Operations)

Location: US - San Francisco, CA; at least 3 days in the office required. The role requires 5–10% travel and is performed in an office setting.

Salary: $136,000–$217,000 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Own CMS business reviews, including deliverables, stakeholder coordination, and timeline execution.
• Develop executive-ready presentations covering business performance, strategic priorities, risks, opportunities, and key decisions.
• Synthesize inputs across hirify.global Direct, VCS, and VGS in collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Operations.
• Improve reporting frameworks to support forward-looking leadership discussions and actionable decisions.
• Maintain action-item governance and follow-through from business reviews.
• Monitor revenue and expense performance against the annual operating plan and forecast, and maintain long-term revenue forecasts and performance models.

Requirements

• Must work from the San Francisco office at least 3 days per week.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience in business management, finance, strategy, sales operations, management consulting, or related analytical roles.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and business performance management experience.
• Advanced analytical skills with Excel and PowerPoint, plus the ability to synthesize large datasets into executive insights.
• Experience with executive communications, performance reporting, MBR/QBR processes, revenue forecasting, budgeting, or financial planning.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, AI tools, or other analytics platforms.
• Experience supporting executive leadership teams and influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations without direct authority.
