Strategy & Business Operations (Hardware AI)

Location: New York City headquarters; in-person work required when not traveling. Domestic and international travel up to 30% of the time.

Salary: $150,000–$215,000 per year, plus equity and benefits. Employment may be conditioned on authorization to receive technology controlled under U.S. export control laws without sponsorship for an export license.

Arena Physica builds Atlas, an AI platform that applies physics-grounded intelligence to verify, debug, and optimize hardware across research and development, integration testing, production assembly, and field repair.

What you will do

• Own special projects across finance, operations, go-to-market, recruiting, and other company functions from investigation through execution.
• Identify high-leverage business challenges and build scalable systems, processes, and playbooks to address them.
• Develop deep understanding of the company’s technology, customers, economics, and organizational processes.
• Build financial models for hardware programs, establish operational foundations for customer deployments, and create pricing models.
• Collaborate with the COO and executive leadership to develop and execute company strategy.
• Travel domestically and internationally for up to 30% of the time.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience, ideally in investment banking, management consulting, or a high-growth startup.
• Deep interest or hands-on experience in hardware.
• Strong written and verbal communication, storytelling, financial modeling, and customer presentation skills.
• Demonstrated creative problem-solving and ownership of impact at scale.
• Ability to work with high intensity, manage demanding workloads, and solve complex problems.
• Ability to work in person at the New York City headquarters when not traveling.
