API Integration Analyst (MuleSoft)

Location: UNO Center - New Orleans, Louisiana, United States; onsite work with branch hours, including weekends and some evenings

What you will do

• Gather, clarify, and document business requirements with stakeholders and project teams.
• Translate business requirements and solution designs into technical specifications for MuleSoft developers.
• Support API-led architecture design, data mappings, interface requirements, and API documentation.
• Participate in design sessions with Enterprise Architecture, developers, vendors, and business users.
• Review delivered solutions for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with architectural standards.
• Support test planning, defect resolution, functionality validation, and post-implementation user support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• At least 2 years of relationship management experience selling banking products.
• Credit underwriting fundamentals, financial analysis, commercial lending products, and compliance regulations.
• Understanding of API concepts, API-led architecture, REST and SOAP services, SQL, and data mapping.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with developers, architects, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to support testing, defect resolution, and user support, with flexibility to work branch hours, weekends, and some evenings.

Nice to have

• Experience with MuleSoft or MuleSoft-based integration projects.
• Banking, financial services, or payments experience.
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture teams and integration design.
• Experience supporting Agile or project-based delivery teams.
