Senior Hogan Business Systems Analyst

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States. Hybrid schedule with four days onsite at the Seneca One Buffalo location and the option to work from home one day per week.

Salary: $71,600–$119,300 annual (USD)

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements with business units and technical teams.
• Configure Hogan systems, implement parameter changes, and deliver custom enhancements across IDS, CIS, and RPM modules.
• Translate business needs into system specifications, process flows, data mappings, and functional design documents.
• Analyze Hogan data flows and integrations with general ledger, balancing, reporting, payments, and downstream systems.
• Develop test strategies and cases, support SIT/UAT, coordinate defect resolution, and assist with production deployments.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, advise stakeholders, and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

• At least five years of combined higher education and/or operational or business analytics experience.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, including deposits, payments, and customer information systems.
• Experience with Hogan upgrades, conversions, or cloud transformations; preferred experience includes seven or more years delivering complex Hogan solutions.
• Experience with SQL, data analysis, system integrations, APIs, batch processes, and middleware.
• Experience with SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
• Familiarity with mainframe environments, including COBOL and JCL, plus strong documentation, communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
