Senior Procurement Analyst (Procurement Analytics)

Location: Wood Dale, Illinois, United States; hybrid with a minimum of 3 days onsite

Salary: $90,000–$105,000 USD per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Deliver weekly and monthly direct-material price variance, indirect spend, supplier tariff, forecast, and budget reporting.
• Own procurement metric submissions, quarterly disclosures, expense reconciliations, scorecards, and outside inventory tracking.
• Lead direct-material spend analytics, inflation reduction, savings validation, and commodity trend modeling.
• Monitor supplier risk using AI-enabled tools and improve indirect-spend service-level agreements and contract coverage.
• Lead weekly management cadence, support Accounts Payable issue resolution, and coordinate purchase orders and First Article Inspections.
• Own vendor add and edit processes, Visual Compliance screening, Engineering Change Order analysis, and PPV/VAVE project reporting.

Requirements

• Experience in financial controlling, procurement controlling, FP&A, or a related finance or supply chain function.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience delivering financial reporting, budget planning, and management-ready analysis under tight deadlines.
• Experience with cost accounting or spend analytics, ERP platforms such as SAP, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to analyze complex procurement and financial data, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Strong collaboration and presentation skills across Finance, Operations, Legal, Procurement, and senior leadership.

Nice to have

• Global or multi-site procurement or supply chain controlling experience.
• Experience with AI-enabled spend analytics, Microsoft Copilot, Coupa, or procurement risk platforms.
• Commodity index modeling, inflation risk management, supplier contract strategy, Visual Compliance, vendor onboarding, or ECO financial workflow experience.
• Familiarity with Daily Management, Lean, Kaizen, or equivalent operating systems.
• Experience with Veralto or enterprise-level metric submissions and reporting frameworks.
