Senior Buyer

Location: Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, United States; on-site work required with daily workshop visits

Salary: $85,000–$92,000 annually

What you will do

• Plan procurement demand and supply for project materials and create accurate purchase orders.
• Obtain supplier acknowledgments and coordinate pricing, delivery terms, shipping modes, and manufacturing schedules.
• Expedite, defer, and coordinate open purchase orders to support on-time project delivery.
• Perform shortage, forecast, and inventory analysis and negotiate improved delivery schedules.
• Provide logistics documentation, complete SAP shipment steps, and follow up on packing lists and shipment readiness.
• Maintain purchasing and expediting records, analyze supply chain data, and identify process improvements.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous purchasing or buyer experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency for data processing, analysis, reporting, and record maintenance.
• Ability to coordinate suppliers and internal teams, monitor manufacturing schedules, and resolve material availability issues.
• Ability to work on-site and visit the workshop daily.

• Familiarity with Power BI.
