Buyer II (Supply Chain)

Location: Shrewsbury, MA, United States; on-site work required with daily workshop visits

Salary: $85,000–$92,000 annually

What you will do

• Plan procurement demand and supply according to project schedules and create accurate purchase orders.
• Obtain supplier acknowledgments and manage pricing, delivery terms, shipping modes, and manufacturing schedules.
• Expedite, defer, and coordinate open purchase orders to support on-time material availability.
• Perform shortage analysis, forecast and inventory reporting, and supplier delivery schedule negotiations.
• Provide logistics documentation, complete SAP shipment steps, and follow up on packing lists and shipment readiness.
• Maintain purchasing and expediting records, analyze supply chain data, and improve scheduling and shipping processes.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous purchasing or buyer experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data processing, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong ability to maintain accurate supply chain data and identify errors.
• Ability to work on-site in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, including daily workshop visits.
• Successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen is required.

• Familiarity with Power BI.
