Supply Chain Data Analyst (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in San Diego, California, United States. Travel up to 5% may be required, including occasional overnight travel. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and qualify as a U.S. Person for access to export-controlled information.

Salary: $73,000–$90,000 USD base salary annually, excluding benefits and bonuses.

What you will do

• Analyze supplier delivery performance, lead times, inventory levels, pricing, costs, bills of material, and procurement data.
• Build and maintain supply chain reports, dashboards, and scorecards for Program Management, Finance, procurement, and leadership.
• Coordinate RFQs, track supplier quotes, and support purchase order preparation and documentation.
• Monitor purchase orders and subcontracts, escalating delivery risks, material shortages, and schedule issues.
• Track supplier performance, quality rejections, corrective actions, onboarding documentation, and system setup.
• Maintain accurate supplier, purchase order, inventory, compliance, and export-control records in NetSuite, E2, and internal systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations in a manufacturing or government contracting environment.
• Experience with ERP, MRP, procurement, or manufacturing databases; NetSuite or E2 experience is preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, dynamic arrays, structured tables, conditional formatting, and dashboards.
• Ability to analyze bills of material, supplier performance, inventory, lead times, pricing, and procurement data, with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable export-control regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace or space systems programs and familiarity with FAR/DFARS, CPSR, ITAR, or EAR requirements.
• Experience with supplier performance management, corrective actions, engineering change orders, BOM management, or product lifecycle activities.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Office Scripts, data governance, master data management, or executive KPI dashboards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Experience using AI-assisted productivity tools to improve analysis, reporting, or process efficiency.
