People Operations Manager (AI)

Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Mountain View, CA

What you will do

• Architect and maintain the People Ops infrastructure, optimizing systems and processes for scale.
• Lead the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
• Partner with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
• Manage benefits, compensation, and wellness programs to ensure competitiveness.
• Oversee immigration and global mobility processes, including H-1B, O-1, and Green Card filings.
• Design engagement programs that foster a culture of ownership, curiosity, and excellence.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of People Operations or HR experience in a fast-scaling tech company.
• 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Must be able to work full-time on-site in the Mountain View office.
• Deep knowledge of global employment law, compliance, and HR systems.
• Proven experience managing benefits, compensation, and immigration processes.
• Ability to build structure from scratch in high-velocity, high-ambiguity environments.
