Frontend Engineer (React)

Location: 100% remote within the United States or Canada; in-person onboarding may take place at the Ann Arbor headquarters.

Salary: $143,000–$177,000 USD for high-cost-of-living areas; $125,000–$165,000 USD for other US locations, plus bonus eligibility and equity.

What you will do

• Drive large frontend projects for enterprise account management, third-party integrations, and the hirify.global Platform.
• Build well-architected, accessible interfaces that surface new data types and product capabilities.
• Partner with Design to translate product intent into high-quality, performant user experiences.
• Work with Product to clarify requirements, negotiate scope, and deliver epic-level initiatives.
• Establish frontend quality standards for testing, accessibility, and component architecture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong React and TypeScript expertise.
• Experience driving large-scale frontend work end to end.
• Strong unit, integration, and end-to-end testing discipline.
• Knowledge of WCAG standards, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility.
• System-level frontend thinking, including component architecture, state management, data-fetching patterns, and performance tradeoffs.
• Collaborative experience working with Design and Product.

Nice to have

• Experience with shared component libraries or design systems.
• Familiarity with backend APIs and service contracts.
• Experience with Remix or other server-rendered React frameworks.
• Security intelligence experience or strong interest in the security domain.
• Experience with data visualization or complex table and grid interfaces at scale.
