Mechanical Engineering Intern - Fall 2026

Location: On-site in Merritt Island, Florida, USA

Compensation: $22.00 per hour

What you will do

• Create 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD or Revit.
• Create and review drawing markups using PDF editing tools such as Bluebeam Revu.
• Review HVAC and plumbing calculations and analyze building systems.
• Evaluate existing facility systems and equipment.
• Review applicable international and local codes and standards, including UFC and IFC.
• Develop cost estimates, job specifications, and technical reports.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering program at a four-year ABET-accredited university or college.
• Preferred graduation within one year; students graduating within two years may also be considered.
• Availability for part-time work, averaging a maximum of 20 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation and a valid, unrestricted driver license.
• US citizenship verification is required upon hire due to federal contract compliance.
