Sr. Materials Planner

Location: US - PA - Horsham

Salary: $88,534–$112,142 annually, plus bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Own and optimize the Master Production Schedule for systems, sub-assemblies, and critical components.
• Analyze MRP signals, release orders in ERP systems, and adjust schedules based on capacity, materials, and lead times.
• Plan aftermarket spares, safety stock, product upgrades, retrofits, and engineering-driven modifications.
• Coordinate supply and demand priorities across Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Customer Support.
• Manage shortages, engineering changes, obsolescence, redesigns, and part substitutions while maintaining production flow.
• Mentor junior planners and drive continuous improvement across planning and material-flow processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment; high-tech or capital equipment experience is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of MRP/MPS, production scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory management.
• Experience with ERP systems and planning tools; SAP experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel, plus working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ISO-9000 principles.

Nice to have

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Experience in high-tech or capital equipment manufacturing.
