Manager, Programs

Location: Remote, based within the South Sound area of Washington State; travel within the assigned territory by car is required, with occasional overnight or air travel. Some evening and weekend work may be required.

Salary: $80,000–$85,000 per year.

What you will do

• Recruit, coach, and manage volunteers delivering the Association's community program portfolio.
• Activate volunteers through peer coaching, Mission Conversations, and quality improvement practices.
• Develop and manage community partnerships and agreements to expand awareness, education, support, and brand visibility.
• Create and execute data-informed community impact plans aligned with local needs.
• Collaborate with revenue, advocacy, leadership, and other stakeholders to expand community reach and mission impact.
• Evaluate volunteer performance and manage budgets, grants, timelines, and program deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals.
• Ability to build community relationships, manage and coach volunteers at different experience levels, and work with diverse and underrepresented communities.
• Strong interpersonal, written, presentation, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, good driving record, and proof of automobile insurance required.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory, work some evenings and weekends, and lift or transport up to 25 lbs. of materials.
