What you will do

• Design, execute, and document formal test plans, procedures, and reports for embedded hardware and systems.
• Develop and maintain automated test solutions using Python or equivalent scripting languages.
• Perform electrical, firmware/software, mechanical, environmental, and system-level testing.
• Design, build, and qualify test fixtures and laboratory setups using oscilloscopes, signal generators, measurement equipment, and environmental chambers.
• Analyze test failures, lead root-cause and corrective-action investigations, and track issues in JIRA or similar systems.
• Coordinate regulatory and compliance testing with third-party laboratories and provide actionable feedback to design teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Strong experience testing hardware and embedded systems in interaction with firmware and software.
• Experience with test automation and scripting languages such as Python.
• Hands-on experience designing and qualifying test fixtures and automated test setups.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, instrumentation, and technical documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of transformer and asset monitoring systems, including temperature, flow, pressure, and condition monitoring.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments, prototype development, and product bring-up.
• Background supporting utility, energy, or industrial customers.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards for industrial and utility products.
• Experience using AI tools.
