Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer (Kotlin/React)

Location: Remote within the United States; proof of U.S. citizenship is required before hire.

Salary: $120,000–$155,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Design, develop, enhance, maintain, and support an enterprise web application.
• Build scalable backend services with Kotlin and high-quality frontend components with React.
• Define and implement secure, documented RESTful APIs with logging and monitoring.
• Apply secure coding practices, including input validation, authentication, authorization, least-privilege access, and encryption.
• Debug production and test-automation issues, monitor application reliability and security, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate through pull requests, Scrum ceremonies, technical documentation, and solution reviews while using AI tooling to improve SDLC delivery.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship must be demonstrated before hire.
• At least 4 years of experience architecting, building, deploying, and maintaining web applications, including 2 years of full-stack development.
• Proficiency with React and related frontend technologies, plus strong Kotlin or other JVM-based programming skills.
• Experience with relational databases and PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, Git, and secure scalable integrations.
• Experience using AI tooling such as Claude or Codex and integrating LLM-based AI into SaaS or enterprise applications.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills in an Agile environment.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent work or military experience.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda, and RDS.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevSecOps, CMMC, NIST SP 800, DFARS, or FedRAMP controls.
