Fullstack Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Reno, Nevada, United States; hybrid

Salary: $128,000–$150,500 per year

What you will do

• Build and ship full-stack features for Client Management, including user experiences, APIs, backend services, and data flows.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering colleagues to turn requirements and workflows into reliable software.
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing, rollout, and improvement.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and improve developer automation, quality, and operational excellence.
• Use AI tools and modern engineering workflows for design, development, testing, and documentation.
• Grow technical ownership by delivering features and strengthening understanding across the stack.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated growth and impact.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience building web frontends with React, Jest, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building backend services with Java or Kotlin, REST or GraphQL APIs, and SQL-backed systems.
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, architectural patterns, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication.

Nice to have

• Docker and containerization experience.
• Knowledge of AWS ECS/Fargate, Kafka/MSK, and infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Experience with Agile development, investment or asset management, CRM applications, design, economics, finance, or Datadog.
