What you will do

• Build and enhance Android mobile applications for Marcus within Asset & Wealth Management.
• Own significant features from implementation through delivery.
• Develop user interfaces with Jetpack Compose and Material Design principles.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and third-party libraries with backend services.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and apply Android patterns such as MVI, MVVM, MVP, and Clean Architecture.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to solve complex technical challenges.

Requirements

• Approximately 3–6 years of Android development experience.
• Advanced Kotlin skills and extensive experience with the Android SDK and Jetpack libraries, including Compose, Room, Hilt/Dagger, Coroutines, and LiveData/Flow.
• Experience with SQLite, SharedPreferences, Retrofit, asynchronous programming, threading, concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning.
• Experience writing unit and UI tests with JUnit and Espresso, with familiarity with Test-Driven Development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, builds, and deployment.
• Strong problem-solving, independent ownership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
