What you will do
- Design, develop, and deliver Android features from requirements through implementation.
- Own the technical design and architecture of assigned features, collaborating with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and developers.
- Plan and execute development work by defining tasks, estimating effort, tracking progress, and delivering predictable results.
- Improve code quality, application performance, security, and maintainability through reviews, standards, and modern Android practices.
- Build and maintain unit tests, support functional and automated testing, troubleshoot issues, and partner with QA to deliver a seamless user experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin, Java, and the Android SDK.
- Czech language proficiency at B1 level.
- Strong understanding of MVVM, clean architecture, dependency injection, and scalable Android application design.
- Experience integrating APIs, SDKs, and third-party libraries with attention to performance and maintainability.
- Knowledge of secure mobile development, including secure coding, code obfuscation, encryption, HTTPS/TLS, and Android KeyStore/KeyChain.
- Strong problem-solving and technical communication skills, including the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate across teams.
