Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin)

What you will do

• Own significant parts of the Android codebase and serve as the technical expert for core components and systems.
• Design and ship scalable Android features using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, and modern architectural practices.
• Partner with engineering and product leadership to define the technical roadmap and influence architectural decisions.
• Lead medium to large projects across multiple engineers, translating ambiguous problems into milestones and driving delivery.
• Improve tooling, processes, testing, and engineering culture using data to increase delivery speed and quality.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• Strong commercial Android development experience with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Kotlin Coroutines.
• Experience shipping high-quality applications to Google Play and the App Store.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with product, design, and engineering.
• Ability to write maintainable, well-tested code and support safe, efficient development practices.
• Ability to influence product decisions using mobile engineering expertise and connect technical execution to business goals.

Nice to have

• Interest in expanding Android expertise into backend or full-stack technologies.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.

• 45-minute past experience interview with the Hiring Manager and General Manager of New Financial Products.
• 120-minute Android technical case study and interview in person, followed by a 60-minute culture interview via Zoom.
