Senior Product Engineer (Android/Kotlin)

Location: Remote, available to candidates living in or willing to relocate to Germany, France, Italy, Serbia, Portugal, or Spain.

What you will do

• Own Android features from discovery and technical design through implementation, rollout, and iteration.
• Make technical decisions with Product, Design, Backend, and Frontend partners, balancing UX, performance, security, and delivery speed.
• Improve application architecture, performance, reliability, maintainability, and test strategy.
• Handle complex mobile challenges including real-time synchronization, resilience patterns, and navigation in a modular codebase of approximately 1,000 modules.
• Lead code reviews and technical discussions, share engineering patterns, and mentor peers.

Requirements

• Strong production Android development experience with Kotlin and ownership of technical decisions.
• Experience with testing practices including unit, UI, and snapshot testing.
• Ability to turn ambiguous and complex constraints into simple, robust solutions.
• Daily use of AI coding tools to improve engineering output.
• Fluent English is required.
