Product Development Program Manager, Ground Encryptor (Cryptographic Hardware)

Location: Carlsbad, California; Marlborough, Massachusetts; Tempe, Arizona; or Tampa, Florida. Travel up to 25%.

Salary: $141,500–$224,000 annually. For specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $176,000–$264,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead programs for the design, development, qualification, certification, and production transition of secure networking and communication appliances.
• Coordinate system architecture, electrical, software, mechanical, engineering analysis, special test equipment, and integration and test teams.
• Manage program milestones, risks, issues, decisions, and commitments across multiple organizations and geographic locations.
• Work with suppliers and subcontractors as part of program deliverables.
• Manage internal and external program communications and customer relationships.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, quality, and profitability while driving complex problem resolutions to completion.

Requirements

• 10+ years of program management experience in complex technical programs.
• At least 5 years of experience leading technical teams.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• US citizenship required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Experience executing US Government programs, managing EVMS practices, and coordinating multiple large-scale programs.

Nice to have

• Experience with cryptographic hardware development programs and encryption devices.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and IP networking.
• Experience with certification processes for cryptographic services.
• Experience leading and writing government proposals.
• Knowledge of PMP and other project management methodologies.
