Senior IT Program Manager V (Critical Infrastructure & Grid Telecom)

What you will do

• Own governance, planning, and multi-site execution for a critical infrastructure network modernization program.
• Lead the replacement of legacy TDM/SONET multiplexer networks with IP/MPLS and Carrier Ethernet platforms.
• Track daily site and circuit migrations, critical-path milestones, field execution, resources, logistics, and supply-chain risks.
• Coordinate migration designs supporting SCADA, teleprotection, and differential-relaying traffic.
• Validate packet configurations against substation timing, latency, and synchronization requirements.
• Ensure network changes, hardware provisioning, and configurations comply with NERC CIP standards and public utility commission requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• At least eight years of IT or telecommunications program management experience in a regulated public utility or energy environment.
• Proven experience leading SONET/TDM-to-IP/MPLS or Carrier Ethernet infrastructure migrations.
• Practical knowledge of utility applications, substation communications, SCADA transport, routing and switching hardware, and Network Services Platforms.
• Required PMP or PgMP certification.
• Knowledge of utility field safety protocols and substation cybersecurity access regulations.
