Maintenance Technician II (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Sanford, North Carolina, United States. The role covers 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts, with overtime as needed.

Salary: $27.20–$33.95 per hour, depending on shift and individual factors.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on process and production equipment through the CMMS.
• Respond to work orders, provide service feedback, and ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Perform reparative maintenance and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and machine components.
• Assist with electrical installations and repairs.
• Follow job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout, PPE, and other workplace safety procedures.
• Support installations and maintenance activities during weekends, holidays, and plant shutdowns.

Requirements

• At least two years of cumulative industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility, including corrective, preventive, and testing work, and/or a relevant industry certification.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet and frequently lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work in changing temperatures and perform extended periods of walking, squatting, and bending.
• Ability to work assigned shifts, weekends, holidays, plant shutdowns, and overtime as needed.
• Successful completion of an online assessment, interview, background check, drug screen, and medical review.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a hirify.global facility.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and equipment diagrams.
• Experience using CMMS and electrical tools, materials, and safety practices.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing manufacturing machine components.
