Security Supervisor (Full-Time)

Location: Onsite in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and split days off in a 24 X 7 environment.

Salary: $33.50 per hour

What you will do

• Supervise, coordinate, and support event security officers before, during, and after live events.
• Lead, train, coach, evaluate, and develop frontline security personnel while maintaining service and safety standards.
• Respond to security incidents, guest concerns, medical emergencies, conflicts, and crisis situations.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings, assess team readiness, and maintain accountability for equipment, conduct, and performance.
• Maintain schedules, invoices, incident reports, administrative logs, and other operational documentation.
• Support VIP walkthroughs, site advances, special operations, access control, screening, crowd management, and security workspace readiness.

Requirements

• Previous security experience and 3–5 years of supervisory experience in security, law enforcement, or the military.
• Experience with communication, staff coaching, performance documentation, conflict management, and handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Experience in areas such as guard force scheduling, security advances, officer training, emergency response, crowd management, physical security projects, or security policy writing.
• Ability to work in loud, crowded, enclosed, and multi-level environments, including areas reaching up to seven stories.
• Ability to pass a physical fitness examination and perform standing, walking, bending, constant motion, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Nevada Alcohol Awareness (TAM) Card and Sheriff’s Card required.

Nice to have

• Union experience and experience in events, sports, theatre operations, or entertainment venues.
• Prior U.S. military service as a non-commissioned officer leading small units, training personnel, and managing others.
• At least 60 college credit hours or comparable self-development through certifications or trade school coursework.
