Director of Campus Security (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Point Pleasant, West Virginia; full-time, site-based role requiring a hands-on presence across the campus

Base salary: $185,000–$230,000 USD per year, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the physical security program for the Monarch campus and act as the primary escalation point for significant security matters.
• Build the operational security organization, including staffing, post orders, patrols, access controls, incident response, monitoring, and contractor oversight.
• Protect data center, power-generation, utility, administrative, and supporting facilities through risk assessments, security separation, and mitigation programs.
• Lead the transition from construction security to operational security before customer turnover and data center activation.
• Oversee access control, CCTV, biometrics, intrusion detection, perimeter detection, intercom, and related security systems.
• Develop relationships with law enforcement, emergency services, government organizations, utilities, infrastructure partners, and community stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in physical security, critical infrastructure security, data center security, corporate security, military security, law enforcement security, or a related field.
• 5+ years of security leadership or management experience, including responsibility for large-scale or high-consequence facilities.
• Experience managing contracted security organizations, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, biometrics, intrusion detection, perimeter security, risk assessment, incident management, and crisis response.
• Experience developing security programs from construction through operational readiness.
• Ability to influence engineering, construction, operations, safety, facilities, and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience securing hyperscale or AI data centers, power-generation facilities, substations, energy infrastructure, or other critical infrastructure.
• Experience with Genetec or comparable enterprise platforms.
• ASIS CPP or PSP certification, relevant high-security experience, or a related bachelor’s degree.
