Security Operations Supervisor

Location: New York, NY — 225 Liberty Street; fully in-office

Salary: $35.00–$40.00 per hour

What you will do

• Lead daily security operations alongside in-house and contracted security personnel.
• Coordinate reception, patrol, event security, access control, visitor management, alarms, CCTV, and facility inspections.
• Serve as the senior uniformed operational resource during incidents, emergencies, critical events, and periods of elevated activity.
• Direct field response, deploy resources, coordinate with the GSOC, and complete notifications, incident reports, and after-action documentation.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, fire, EMS, property management, vendors, and venue personnel during incidents and events.
• Coach security and GSOC personnel, support training and drills, and provide management with feedback on performance, staffing, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, emergency management, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• At least five years of progressively responsible experience in law enforcement, military service, public safety, corporate security, or a related security environment.
• Leadership experience directing personnel or operations during routine activities, incidents, emergencies, or special events.
• Ability to work as a hands-on, uniformed operational leader and make timely decisions under pressure.
• Working knowledge of access control, CCTV, alarm monitoring, incident reporting, Microsoft Office, and related reporting systems.
• Ability to remain mobile throughout the workday, conduct patrols and inspections, stand or walk for extended periods, and complete required pre-employment screening.

Nice to have

• Prior supervisory or field leadership experience in law enforcement, corporate security, military service, emergency management, or another operational environment.
• Experience supporting a GSOC, command center, emergency operations center, or similar security environment.
• Experience coordinating proprietary and contracted security personnel, reception, events, or executive support.
• CPP, APP, PSP, PCI, FDNY Certificates of Fitness, First Aid, CPR, AED, or similar certifications.
