GSOC Operator/Supervisor (Day, Swing, Overnight shifts available)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States. Fully onsite, 100%. Day, swing, and overnight shifts are available.

Operators: $23.00–$29.00 per hour. Supervisors: $70,500–$75,000 salaried.

What you will do

• Monitor security events using video surveillance, access control, open-source intelligence, and mass-communication tools.
• Answer routine and emergency calls, triage incidents, dispatch security officers and maintenance personnel, and liaise with 911 centers.
• Coordinate responses to security incidents, emergencies, and crisis events affecting people, property, operations, or brand.
• Maintain accurate records of communications, incidents, and security events and produce concise reports.
• For supervisor-level roles, lead GSOC operators, conduct training and evaluations, manage escalations, and improve procedures and systems.
• Communicate with clients, security teams, law enforcement, emergency responders, and leadership stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a communications or operations center or a related role.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar technical systems and use multiple security and communication platforms.
• Ability to make critical decisions under pressure, manage high-stress situations, and maintain composure during incidents.
• Strong customer service, written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
• Reliable communication and transportation; willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement and maintain confidentiality.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen after a conditional employment offer. Supervisors additionally need 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with emergency responders, corporate security teams, or crisis management frameworks.
• Fluency in a second language such as Spanish, Mandarin, or Korean.
