GSOC Operator - Day Shift

Location: Onsite in El Segundo, California, United States. Day shift: 5:00 AM–1:30 PM.

Hourly pay: $23–$28 per hour.

What you will do

• Support multiple clients through emergency and non-emergency security operations, incoming call triage, event dispatching, and notification services.
• Monitor access-control alerts, video feeds, open-source threat intelligence, mass-communication tools, and other security information.
• Dispatch or notify security officers, maintenance teams, and emergency 911 centers as needed.
• Prioritize incidents, make decisions under stress, and coordinate preparation, response, and recovery during crises.
• Maintain concise records and reports of communications, events, and incidents.
• Contribute to operational and systems improvement projects while maintaining confidentiality and composure during emergencies.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a communications or operations center or a related role.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, especially during crises.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar technical systems and generate concise reports from verbal or written information.
• Reliable communication and transportation arrangements.
• Willingness to sign and maintain a confidentiality agreement.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen after a conditional offer.
