Assembly Senior Manufacturing Support - 3rd Shift

Location: Sanford, North Carolina, United States. Onsite, 3rd shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 PM–5:30 AM; overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Salary: $27.20–$33.95 per hour, plus an 8% third-shift premium.

What you will do

• Support section managers and assembly operations on the plant floor.
• Perform 5S activities, area layout work, MRDR processes, continuous improvement, and CAV audits.
• Apply hirify.global Production System principles, including waste elimination, standard work, and improvement idea reporting.
• Make independent decisions, solve problems, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Communicate cross-functionally and provide summaries to leadership.
• Work as a contributing member of the assembly support team.

Requirements

• Successful completion of the hirify.global Non-Management Selection Process.
• Mechanical or assembly experience and operations or industrial planning experience.
• Understanding of assembly planning systems, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and strong math and computer skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, sit or stand for prolonged periods, perform repetitive operations, and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Applicants must not require or expect employer-sponsored H, L, TN, F, J, E, or O status.

Nice to have

• Advanced computer and hirify.global systems knowledge.
• Previous 5S, leadership, quality, Six Sigma, or Lean manufacturing experience.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Experience operating forklifts or aerial lifts.
