ERP Portfolio Director (ERP Functions)

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States. Site-based hybrid role requiring work from a hirify.global office or work location at least 3 days, or 60%, per week. U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary: $165,000–$261,000 annually. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $205,000–$308,000 annually.

What you will do

• Own strategy, performance, and business outcomes for ERP value streams including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, supply chain and logistics, and plan-to-build.
• Lead the ERP roadmap, transformation initiatives, S/4HANA migration waves, template harmonization, automation, and Oracle decommissioning or coexistence strategies.
• Govern ERP intake, prioritization, functional design, configuration, integrations, funding approvals, and platform standardization.
• Ensure availability, stability, resiliency, incident management, release governance, service KPI performance, and audit readiness across critical operating periods.
• Own integration outcomes across ERP, manufacturing, logistics, product lifecycle, CRM, commerce, and downstream finance platforms, including reconciliation and monitoring.
• Manage ERP portfolio CapEx and OpEx, system integrators, managed services, SaaS partners, delivery standards, and outcome-based performance governance.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive IT leadership with ownership of large-scale, global ERP portfolios.
• Experience across ERP value streams such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, supply chain, and manufacturing, with knowledge of finance execution impacts.
• Experience leading run-and-transform delivery, global teams, and large system integrator or managed services ecosystems.
• Experience with SOX, ITGC, and ITAC controls, audit remediation, and evidence discipline in regulated environments.
• Strong operational discipline, metrics-driven service management, continuous improvement, and executive communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship required due to program requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience leading SAP S/4HANA migrations, Oracle upgrades, or multi-platform ERP transformations through go-live, cutover, and hypercare.
• Knowledge of program-based manufacturing, project costing, complex bills of materials, long-lead procurement, and fulfillment.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, satellite, government contracting, aviation, maritime, or energy environments.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS impacts, federated operating models, global process governance, and complex ERP integrations.
