SAP S/4HANA FICO Controlling Lead

Base compensation: $82,082–$193,440 per year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Finance and Controlling solutions in large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Design solutions for Product Costing, Material Ledger, Margin Analysis/CO-PA, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
• Lead requirements gathering, blueprint workshops, process design sessions, and stakeholder alignment across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales.
• Design integrations with FI, MM, SD, PP, PM, and other SAP modules, including financial close, profitability analysis, allocations, budgeting, and reporting.
• Lead onsite and offshore delivery teams, providing mentorship, governance, testing coordination, data validation, deployment planning, and post-production support.
• Contribute to client pursuits, solution presentations, business development, documentation, training, and SAP capability development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience with significant focus on SAP Controlling.
• Experience leading 4–8 full-lifecycle SAP implementations and serving as FICO or Controlling Lead on 3–6 or more enterprise implementations.
• Strong expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, CO-PC, Material Ledger, CO-PA, and Cost Object Controlling.
• Knowledge of accounting principles including IFRS and GAAP, financial planning, profitability management, and enterprise performance management.
• Strong client-facing communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and delivery-team leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public or Private Cloud transformations.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, consumer products, life sciences, or process industry organizations.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance or SAP Management Accounting certification.
