Location: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office and the remaining days remotely. Qualified candidates must reside within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance from Louisville, Chicago, New York, Dallas, Boston, or Washington, DC.
Salary: $201,600β$277,200 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do
- Define the multi-year vision, strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for a portfolio of AI products and capabilities.
- Partner with business and enterprise leaders to identify high-impact AI use cases, develop business cases, and sequence them into a portfolio.
- Build prototypes and demos with agentic coding tools, then drive validated solutions from prototype through production and iteration.
- Translate use cases into user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, success metrics, and usable end-to-end experiences.
- Define evaluation standards using golden sets, error budgets, offline and production evaluations, precision, recall, task success, and hallucination metrics.
- Lead cross-functional teams through architecture decisions, enterprise AI governance, stage-gate reviews, executive communication, and reusable AI standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product or related experience, including AI/ML or GenAI products shipped to production; strong engineering backgrounds with real AI fluency may be considered with fewer years.
- Experience setting portfolio-level strategy, driving delivery across multiple products or a major domain, and leading initiatives with executive visibility.
- Hands-on understanding of model behavior, context windows, latency, cost, hallucination, RAG, fine-tuning, LLMs, agents, prompt and harness engineering, and evaluations.
- Experience building golden sets, ground truth, offline and live evaluations, and using precision- and recall-based metrics for product decisions.
- Ability to create business cases, ROI models, roadmaps, reusable infrastructure, and standards while working effectively across business and technical domains.
- Availability for a hybrid schedule with three office days per week in a listed U.S. talent market.
Nice to have
- 12+ years of product experience or equivalent depth of AI-native building in a large enterprise.
- Healthcare, insurance, or other regulated-industry experience.
- Experience with agent frameworks, GraphRAG, knowledge graphs, reusable skills or plugins, and AI product standards.
- Knowledge of responsible AI, bias mitigation, sensitive-data compliance, and AI governance.
- Computer science or engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
