Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, United States, with commuting to the South Financial District office up to three days per week. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship and OPT/STEM extension support are not available.
Salary: $151,400–$189,250 USD annually, with a possible geographic premium.

What you will do
- Own the product vision, strategy, and execution for AI agents and multi-agent workflows supporting clinical trials, protocol design, safety reporting, clinical decision support, and chart abstraction.
- Define how clinicians and researchers interact with autonomous agents, including guardrails, confidence thresholds, and user interfaces.
- Partner with engineers, data scientists, and prompt engineers to move AI agents from proof of concept to scalable, reliable production software.
- Collaborate with clinical, legal, and security teams to ensure ethical operation and regulatory compliance.
- Translate end-user pain points into technical AI requirements such as tool use, RAG architectures, and API integrations.
- Establish metrics for agent accuracy, task completion, cost-per-token efficiency, and user trust.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience and a track record of shipping production-grade AI/ML products.
- Conceptual understanding of foundation models, RAG, prompt engineering, and API-driven architectures.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, a technical discipline, or life sciences.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical AI concepts to executives, clients, and clinicians.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship and OPT/STEM extension support are unavailable.
- Ability to travel up to 25% to partner sites and industry conferences.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in computer science, data science, or a clinical field.
- Healthcare, clinical data, life sciences, or biopharma drug development experience.
- Familiarity with OMOP, FHIR, ICD-10, or SNOMED.
- Experience in an early-stage startup, innovation team, or ambiguous fast-moving product initiative.
