Category Manager - Electrical Components

Location: Davidson, North Carolina, United States. Hybrid schedule with onsite work Monday through Thursday and flexibility to choose the work location on Fridays.

Annual base salary: $75,700.00–$135,834.99. Incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Own the category strategy, supply base, and performance for Tier 2 electrical components within the wire harness assembly category.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, procurement, and other stakeholders to define requirements and ensure supplier qualification and quality.
• Develop category strategies, expand preferred supplier programs, and segment suppliers according to business needs.
• Manage contract lifecycles, compliance, RFx activities, supplier selection, and negotiations.
• Monitor and mitigate supplier financial, capacity, quality, and compliance risks.
• Lead supplier relationship reviews and cost productivity initiatives to achieve Quality, Cost, and Delivery targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of procurement or sourcing experience with large-scale, complex, regional, or global spend categories.
• Demonstrated success assessing, negotiating with, and managing vendors.
• Strong collaboration, facilitation, consultation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder influence skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
