Trade Maintenance Build Technician

Location: Kent and East Sussex, United Kingdom; in office / on location

What you will do

• Carry out general building maintenance across hirify.global stores and carparks.
• Complete planned and reactive repairs, targeting first-time fixes and high-quality results.
• Perform brickwork, carpentry, pothole repairs, drainage maintenance, and other multi-trade tasks.
• Work independently and collaboratively to resolve issues efficiently.
• Communicate progress to relevant stakeholders and maintain accurate updates through mobile devices and business systems.
• Work occasional weekends, paid as overtime.

Requirements

• Practical experience in general building work, including bricklaying and masonry, roof construction and maintenance, cement and concrete preparation, groundworks and paving, tiling and flooring, plastering, and drywalling.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic IT skills, including mobile devices and Office 365.

Nice to have

• City & Guilds qualification covering both carpentry and joinery.
