Director, VCA Implementation Services (Digital Payments)

Location: Ashburn, Virginia, United States; at least 3 days in the office required. The role combines office and remote settings, includes significant client interaction, and requires core business-hours availability with occasional meetings outside standard hours.

Salary: $160,500–$285,600 USD per year, with potential sales incentives; bonus and equity may also apply.

What you will do

• Build, lead, and scale a multidisciplinary implementation services team of solution architects, implementation leads, and delivery professionals.
• Establish delivery standards, operating rhythms, and quality controls that improve consistency and client outcomes.
• Lead senior client engagements, supporting consultative selling, deal pursuit, solution scope, value, and risk discussions.
• Design and evolve modular, scalable implementation solutions for hirify.global products, platforms, and services.
• Deliver complex implementations on time, within scope and budget, while managing dependencies, change, and delivery risks.
• Use client and market insights to tailor offerings for Super Regionals clients and improve delivery models.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading client-facing implementation, integration, or transformation programs in financial services, payments, or consulting.
• Accountability for scope, budget, risk, and delivery outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience with consultative selling, solution architecture, complex stakeholder management, and client-facing delivery teams.
• Experience with issuers, processors, fintechs, or enabling platforms in the payments ecosystem.
• Ability to work from the Ashburn office at least 3 days per week.
