Service Maintenance Technician - Security/CCTV (CCTV)

Location: Redditch, Solihull, and South Birmingham; in office/on location with 60% of the week at office locations or local sites and the remainder remotely

What you will do

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across CCTV, security systems, stores, and property equipment.
• Install, configure, maintain, and repair analogue and IP CCTV systems to industry standards.
• Follow planned work schedules, improve first-time fix rates, and provide completion updates using mobile devices.
• Coordinate repairs with external contractors and minimize disruption to customers.
• Collaborate with colleagues, attend local and national meetings, and share technical knowledge and feedback.
• Support safe, compliant, and fully functioning hirify.global sites.

Requirements

• Full driving licence.
• Health and Safety awareness and Asbestos Awareness.
• Proven security-related technical skills, supported by City & Guilds training or an apprenticeship.
• Essential experience with analogue and IP CCTV.
• Experience with Hikvision, Pelco, and Hanwha Techwin systems.
• Administrative, IT, Microsoft Office, customer escalation management, and resource scheduling skills.

Nice to have

• CCTV qualification or certification.
• Experience in a retail environment.
• IOSH qualification.
• IPAF qualification.
