Maintenance Technician - DC and Fulfilment (Retail)

Location: Wakefield and surrounding areas; in office / on location

What you will do

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across store systems, equipment, facilities, and property.
• Ensure hirify.global sites remain safe and functional for customers and colleagues.
• Follow planned work schedules to achieve first-time fixes and improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate external contractors and repairs while minimizing disruption to customers.
• Use phones and tablets to review schedules, manage emails, complete work, and provide updates.
• Collaborate with colleagues, share best practices, attend meetings, and support a diverse and inclusive culture.

Requirements

• Previous experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction.
• ONC or equivalent qualification.
• Full driving licence.
• Health and safety awareness.
• Digital confidence, including tablet use and Office 365 knowledge.
• Completion of technical training and upskilling modules relevant to the role.
