People Advisor (Fintech)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid schedule with home working available on Mondays and Fridays and office attendance on other days.

What you will do

• Manage probation and absence processes and support performance management and complex employee relations cases.
• Advise managers and employees across family leave, flexible working, and other employee lifecycle matters.
• Provide tier-two support beyond the self-service People bot and identify opportunities to improve its capabilities.
• Support onboarding, policies, and benefits for US and Mexico populations.
• Contribute to organisational change, People initiatives, and strategic work with the People Partnering team.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to policies, processes, manager coaching, and systems.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in an HR advisory role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice across the employee lifecycle.
• Experience managing a range of employee relations cases.
• Confidence advising and constructively challenging managers and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise varied responsibilities, and balance business and people needs.
• Curiosity about using AI and automation to improve People processes.

Hiring process

• Remote 30-minute hiring manager and stakeholder interviews.
• Final in-person interviews including a leadership interview and a case study with the VP of People and hiring manager.
