People Advisor (AI)

Location: London, Central; hybrid. Work from home is available on Mondays and Fridays, with in-office collaboration on other days.

What you will do

• Own probation and absence management and support performance management, providing practical advice to managers and employees and escalating complex employee relations matters.
• Lead employee lifecycle processes including family leave and flexible working requests.
• Provide tier-2 support beyond the self-service bot and identify opportunities to improve its capabilities.
• Support organisational change, People initiatives, onboarding, policies, and benefits for US and Mexico populations.
• Partner with the wider People Partnering team on strategic work including talent density, reward, and leader development.
• Identify patterns and recommend improvements to policies, processes, manager coaching, and systems, including through AI and automation.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in an HR advisory role.
• Strong understanding of UK employment law and best practice across the full employee lifecycle, including experience managing a range of employee relations cases.
• Confidence engaging directly with managers and senior stakeholders, including advising and challenging when needed.
• Commercial awareness and good judgement in balancing business and people needs.
• Self-driven, autonomous approach with the ability to plan and prioritise varied work.
• Genuine curiosity about AI and how it can improve People processes.
• Driven, hands-on approach and ambition to build quickly in a high-growth environment.

Hiring process

• 20-minute Talent interview followed by a 15-minute online assessment.
• 30-minute remote hiring manager interview and 30-minute remote stakeholder interview.
• Final 60-minute in-person stage consisting of a leadership interview and a case study interview.
