Salary: $127,000–$172,000 base compensation per year

What you will do

  • Own monthly and quarterly NAI financial reporting packages from input coordination through final executive-ready delivery.
  • Consolidate Revenue, Expense, and Strategic Finance inputs with Corporate Accounting results and FP&A variance analysis across budget, prior year, and forecast dimensions.
  • Develop clear financial narratives that explain performance drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities across business lines and functional areas.
  • Coordinate reporting standards, timelines, quality reviews, and deadline adherence across multiple FP&A functions.
  • Partner with Enterprise FP&A & Reporting and Corporate Accounting on enterprise reporting, Board and ELT materials, reconciliations, and GAAP inputs.
  • Improve reporting templates, consolidation workflows, review cadences, document standards, and data and planning capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive FP&A, financial reporting, or corporate finance experience in a complex, multi-entity organization.
  • Deep knowledge of insurance brokerage or financial services.
  • Strong financial storytelling, analytical judgment, organizational, coordination, and document-quality skills.
  • Experience with Excel and Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools.
  • Comfort with an on-site presence in Grand Rapids to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.

Nice to have

  • MBA, CPA, or another relevant advanced degree or professional certification.
  • Big Four public accounting or advisory experience.
  • Experience with PubCo reporting, non-GAAP reconciliations, pre-IPO or public-company environments, C-suite reporting, SOX compliance, or internal controls.
  • Experience with Anaplan, Adaptive, or similar planning platforms.
