Location: Onsite at the manufacturing and test facility in Briggs, Texas, United States. U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain required U.S. government authorizations is required under ITAR regulations.

What you will do
- Lead integration, instrumentation, and execution of hotfire tests for the Spectre propulsion engine and related liquid propulsion systems.
- Develop test plans, procedures, and operational sequences for complex propulsion testing.
- Serve as test conductor, managing console operations, data acquisition, communications, propellant loading, ignition, conditioning, and safing operations.
- Set up, check out, and operate ground support equipment, including propellant transfer, pressurization, and safety systems.
- Analyze test data in real time and after testing using Python, LabView, or similar tools.
- Lead anomaly investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, design reviews, and test infrastructure improvements.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with liquid rocket propulsion test operations, including planning, execution, and data analysis.
- Experience leading or conducting liquid propulsion hotfire tests for engines, thrusters, or integrated vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of propellant feed, pressurization, ignition, fluid, and propellant chemistry systems.
- Experience with valves, regulators, pressure vessels, propellant transfer systems, leak detection, instrumentation, sensor calibration, and data acquisition.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, control schematics, and engineering drawings, troubleshoot complex systems, and communicate test results.
