Universal Banker (Financial Services)

Location: On-site full-time in Richmond, BC, at the Steveston & No. 5 Road Banking Centre; flexibility to work at multiple nearby banking centres, including evenings and weekends

What you will do

• Meet with personal and business banking clients to understand their priorities and recommend suitable financial products and solutions.
• Develop forward-looking financial plans using knowledge of technology, cash management, credit, investments, and wealth protection.
• Build and deepen client relationships through outreach, marketing activities, networking, and referrals.
• Introduce clients to mobile and online banking applications and help them manage their banking needs digitally.
• Work collaboratively to connect clients with the appropriate people and opportunities across the bank.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working with clients and achieving sales results.
• Current Mutual Funds License accreditation in good standing, through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada.
• Client-first approach, goal orientation, critical thinking, attention to detail, curiosity, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of client service, customer experience, financial products, digital literacy, goal planning, outbound calls, and regulatory requirements.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified Canadian location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
• Willingness to work regular banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel to nearby banking centres.
