Banking Centre Leader (Financial Services)

Location: On-site full-time at Antigonish-185 Main St., Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.

What you will do

• Lead a team of Leaders, Advisors, and Representatives in delivering exceptional client experiences.
• Develop client relationships, identify financial needs, and support clients with securing futures, owning homes, and establishing businesses.
• Monitor banking centre performance, create action plans, and drive revenue growth and market opportunities.
• Hire, coach, develop, and support employees while promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Manage and minimize operational risk, resolve client complaints, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Represent CIBC in the local community and support employee recruitment.

Requirements

• Experience providing coaching and hands-on support to achieve team goals.
• Current accreditation and good standing with a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada.
• Client-focused, goal-oriented, accountable, and relationship-driven leadership approach.
• Strong capabilities in banking operations, financial advising, client service, and performance monitoring.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

• Branch Compliance Officer’s Course, Branch Managers Examination Course, Conducts & Practices Handbook, Wealth Management Essentials, or Certified Financial Planner certification.
