Manufacturing IT Equipment Support (IT Asset Management)

Location: Onsite in Normal, Illinois, United States

Salary: $63,300–$79,100 annually for Illinois-based applicants, with potential annual performance bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Manage hardware and software assets across procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, vendor contracts, and disposal.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, HMIs, scanners, servers, printers, tablets, and other mobile devices.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, vendor relationships, and hardware research for production environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide technical support to users and business units.
• Lead equipment rollouts, workstation upgrades, and related Manufacturing IT projects.
• Use hand tools, operate golf carts and scissor lifts, and lift 30–40 pounds as required.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and network peripherals.
• Excellent record-keeping, organizational, diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with IT inventory or asset management systems, Active Directory, ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow, and remote management tools.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff and work with vendors.
• Ability to work onsite in Normal, Illinois, use required tools and equipment, and lift 30–40 pounds.

Nice to have

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional certification.
